Solved: Any simple ways of finding which type of RAM I have got?
Hi, the title says it really, now I know a bit about computers not a huge amount, but I need to find a fool proof way of working this out, any thoughts?

I know how much RAM I have 1 GB, but not the type.

Many thanks

SIW will tell you what hardware is in your computer.
Download the standalone version so you don't need to install it.

You can also go to www.crucial.com and they can analyze what type of ram you have and what your computer can take. They also sell memory and guarantee it.

Software apps are fine however nothing replaces a look with the Mark I eyeball.

Open the case and look. The ram will have a sticker that shows a model # and the required voltage.
