Problem With Graphics Card :(
Hi, I was using my computer like normal, then when I went to plug my speakers in, the screen turned off, the computer restarted and displayed a message saying "Not optimal resolution, Recommended resolution: 1200x1024".

I turned the sound system off, thinking that maybe the E.M.I was interfering with the screen, but it didn't help..
I tried taking my graphics card out and putting it back in, and checking the power that goes into it, and still has the problem.
I tried a different LCD monitor, and it still has the same problem.

If I remote desktop into the computer, I can see that the resolution is set to 1200x1024 with a refresh rate of 60

It does this weather it is in Bios/Booting, or in Windows.

Heres a bit of info about my computer:
Windows XP, Duel core Intel 2GB ddr ram
Nvidia PCIE graphics card with Duel channel capabilities

Is there something I have missed?
What could the problem be?
