AMD Athlon 1.6 GHz or Intel Celeron 2.2 Ghz?
Which one would perform better for light 3D modeling , and After Effects Editing?

I hear Athlon is better but at 2.2 Ghz.

So should I get Laptop A:
Or laptop B:
These two are the best i can do at the moment, money is tight and I need something soon. Hard drives on both machines are okay.

Hi gabby64,

Welcome to TSG!

Get laptop B, i.e. for 3D modeling you will likely need a large cache which it has vs laptop A, and the memory is expandable which is the cheapest way to improve performance.
