burned a laptop key
i was sketching in front of my laptop, beside the laptop was an ashtray with a lit cigarette.

somehow i must have hit the cigarette and didnt notice that it fell on the Z key (stupid, i know)
now the Z key is totally burnt and has dislodged itself from the keyboard since the locking mechanism on the cap has melted away.

the white clippy thing that is part of the laptop is unscathed, only the cap needs to be replaced.

now, i have a broken hp pavillion dv9000 and the one i burned is a vaios pcg-z1wamp

i was wondering, are laptops keys all made the same way meaning can I use the HP keys to replace the vaios key that i burned?

or am i going to have to order a spare key online (if there are any), and if so, can you recommend a good store that ships internationally.

thanks!

http://www.individualkeys.com/servle...ividual/Detail

There are also some websites where you can buy the whole keyboard for about $30.
