Solved: graphics card
Heya
I am trying to insta a nvidia 6200fx graphics card through the vga slot.
I cannot get the system to recognise it at all.
I am running vista home premium with an amd sempron 2400+ and 2gb ram.
I have downloaded various drivers but nothing seems to be working.
Any ideas?

Did you disable the onboard video after installing the new video card?

Do you have any other video card that you can use, so you can check if the VGA slot is working.

Try the video card on another computer ask your relative or a friend to test it on their computer just to check if the card is working.

Or it's because it's so old, Do you have the power and time to try to install Xp on it or atleast another OS as a last way out?
I'm thinking, cause of Vista dont have a good support for older hardware....
