ASUS F3E won't see DVD's to reinstall OE
I have an ASUS F3E and the OE went south!
When I insert the installation DVD's it doesn't see them.
The DVD drive sees CD's from XP and bios, but not DVD's, so I can't re-install.
Please help as I need this laptop when i travel?
Thanks,
KBD

A quick way if you have another computer that doesnt exactly solve your problem would be to use another computer with alcohol 120 to make an image of the dvd then reburn that image using alcohol 120 and split the image into 700mb portions small enough to fit on several cds. This would allow you to do the install through CD.

As far as fixing the problem can you list the computers specs?
