My ACER 6920 Laptop has a keyboard issue as after plugging in a G15 keyboard it has resorted to just the (fn) keys so that you can't use the u,i,o,p,j,k,l,;,or m

Ok for lane go to control panel and find your language options>regional and language options>languages tab>and then go key settings and look for the key settings to set it back to english and not french.

should be default be like left alt + shift but yours may be different. That will put it back in english for you.

As for tankie you will get better replies if you start your own thread not reply to this one about a keyboard prob with your power prob.

For tankie will it work with the ac adapter plugged in or no? could be a bad charger.

Sadly I've tried this and there's still no joy I'm wondering if the drivers are corrupt.
Any farther suggestions.

if it wont work even on the charger it means your AC power cord is bad if the computer wont run with it plugged in nor charge the battery when the ac is plugged in it bypasses the battery in a sense
