Exclamation Solved: powering up trouble
I thought my power supply was shot because i tried to start the computer and it seems to start ie: front case lights come on, fans start spinning, but after 1 maybe 2 seconds, nothing. If i pull the power cord out and plug back in, same thing. But nothing happens unless i pull it out and plug back in.

yeah the one on the cpu. There should be a metal block with fins and then a fan on it. This cools the cpu.

Nice Job, It is always good to be able to help someone. It is also great to see someone that isn't afraid to get involved in fixing their own computers. Many people shy away from it and pay someone else to do it. Well Done.
