Thumbs up Easy fix to broken wire
HI,

I had the same thing happened to me about 18 months ago. I fixed it by bearing the the two wire ends and twisting them together.

Tape over the joint with insulation tape, then check that it cannot get in the way of anything that may damage it. Secure it in position with a tie if required.

Regards,
Mulgravia.

If you can't, or don't want to bother fixing the wire, here are some compatible coolers: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...0370%20%2f%20A
Note that you'll also need high-purity alcohol to clean the CPU and thermal paste for the installation of the new cooler.

Just read through, and only the Dynatron DC1206BM-L610-T/C22, MASSCOOL 5R057B3 and MASSCOOL 5R058B3-H are certain to be enough for your CPU.
