Post Best Computer?
Ok guys (and girls),

I need to get a laptop. I need it for a specific purpose, so it doesn't have to be flashy and doesn't need the best everything. Also, a good thing to mention is that I don't want to spend too much money on it.

-I'm going to use it for a tremendous amount of downloading. Based on my work, it would be nearly constantly downloading something.
-It will also act as a website server. I just need it powerful enough to support about 3 small sites.
-It needs some decent cards. A great wireless card for sure. Video and sound, don't need to be but okay.
-Due to hosting and download/ uploads, I need it to be able to run for many hours at a time without failure. (like 3 days at most). Or can I obtain an accessory for that?
-Good hard drive space, but not more than 250 gb. At least 160 gb though.
-Needs to have a decent size and at least a DVD burning drive.

Also, please tell me the best brand and other hardware I can get for it. It's just used for the above type of work. Can you help me?

Laptops aren't designed to be on all the time. They generally run hot, and you'll certainly shorten its life by doing so. You'll want to look for something less powerful in order to keep the heat down.

Cheap, on for long periods, customize. That does not describe a laptop. You will need a proper computer.
