not an admin
my friends computer he is trying to install a printer, an he has an admin acount, but when the install finishes it tells him he needs an admin to finish the process, how do you fix this?

There's not nearly enough information to offer help.

What operating system is installed?
What is the full make and model of the printer?
Is he logged in with the system administrator account or an account with administrator rights?
Is this his personal home computer, or is it a work computer?
Is this the only thing he can't install on the computer, or has he had problems installing other things?

he is using vista
hp deskjet f340 all in one,........,he already installed a patch to make it compatible with vista
its the only acount he has on his computer.......i guess admin rights
this is his laptop for personel uses,not a work computer
the printer is the only thing hes had a problem with
