EasyNote MX61 Integrated Mic not working.
Hi,

My EasyNote MX61 has a webcam and microphone built-in to its lid. The webcam works fine, but I can't seem to get the mic working. When I try to make a call using Skype, I am told "Your computer needs a sound card to make audio calls." I'm pretty sure I have a sound card. I suspect I am missing a driver but I cannot locate the one I might need.

As always, your help is appreciated.

Regards, Figmore.

Thanks Joe,
My PC is a Packard Bell, not an HP - I made that same mistake at one time.
I've been to the manufacturer's driver download page http://support.packardbell.com/uk/it...5e01486&g=2000 but cannot identify the driver I need to fix this problem. At this point I feel like I'm going round in circles.

Ahh right sorry there,
You need to go to device manager,
Right click on "My Computer" then click Mange.

After that click device manger on the right hand side
Click "Sound....EctEct"

And Your Device should show up
Then just downlaoad the drivers needed
