the toshiba's cpu is an athlon dual core x2 ql-62. so if the durabook's is intel will that cause an issue with the socket being different and or just cause they're from two different manufacturers?

I believe that will work until it is intel chipset.
core2 Duo 1.73GHz is T5300. you may use core2 duo 2.0GHz (T7200) or Core 2 duo2.16GHz (T7400 or T7600) for your durabook.

Graphics are fine here. Try emptying out your internet browser's cache or try flushing the DNS cache:

Start -> Run -> type CMD and press ENTER. Then in the command prompt type IPCONFIG /DNS and press ENTER. It should report back that it was successfully. Then reload your browser and come back to the forum.

Upgrading laptop CPU's can be risky and there's little posted CPU upgrades for most. But right off the bat you cannot install an AMD processor into an Intel system or vice versa.

I agree with Triple6, From manufactory GoWin.com/durabook.com website, d15ts have to be installed intel chipset (not amd). max cpu is Intel Core2 Duo 2.60GHz (T9500, 6MB Cache)
