USB Port not working
Hi. Please help me. My USB Port doesnt seem to be working. When I insert a USB connection, it either tells me USB not recognized, or the computer just shuts off without warning. I have two ports on my laptop but only one is like this. The other works fine. I am running Windows XP Service Pack 3. HP Laptop.

I would suspect the port is damage some how....see if you can get a flashlight and see if you can see anything
