Low profile case, upgrading to mid-sized tower
Ok, so I believe that almost everything should go well. I have an acer x3810.
I want to go from a low profile case to a mid-sized tower.

Here's my last thread for more info:

I have a pci slot and a pciex16 slot. Since no decent GPU will fit in there (the pcie slot is near the very end of the motherboard so any decent gpu will not fit, considering that it gets in the way of the bottom of the case) I've decided to upgrade my case. But I have a "network card" in there I guess you could call it. It connects to my network adapter with two cables, one connects to a white input the other to a black. I believe this is a low profile pci card, so when I upgrade will i have to buy another network card so it fits inside my new case?

You could be able to get a regular backplate for the card, but I doubt you'll come around a compatible one for less than a new normal sized network card. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...7&N=2050400027

i agree with Big-O... a new network card is less than $20 ( more like $10 ) so why not splurge and go for the new one. A lot less headaches.

On another read, you have two cables connected to your current card? Are both the same size and connector? Could you post pics of the cables if you can't name them?

I'm thinking this is a wireless network card?
