Exclamation Bluescreen error (Dumping Physical Memory)
Hi,
My brother built a new computer for me a couple of months ago.
AMD Athlon II X4 630 (2.8ghz)
Nvidia Geforce 9600GT
2gb of RAM
Motherboard : I don't know exactly, but can look for the name if required.

The problem is, that I get a bluescreen error as soon as I play specific games like 'Empire: Total War' and 'Napoleon: Total War'. Games that require much RAM memory and Videocard memory. The strange thing is, that during Assassins Creed II, a game that requires much more memory, nothing happens. So I checked my videocard drivers, but they're up-to-date. Also, I use directx 11 so that can't be the problem.

The error:
Probleemhandtekening: (Problem signature)
Gebeurtenisnaam van probleem (Name of the problem): BlueScreen
Versie van besturingssysteem (Version of OS): 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1

OS Version: 6_1_7600

C:\Windows\Minidump\062410-21481-01.dmp

Sorry is in Dutch, since I am dutch, so I translated it a little.

Can somebody help me and tell me what the problem is?
Thanks,

Start with some basic troubleshooting;

1 Download and run memtest let it run for at least 2hr or so.

2 Post your temps and voltages here. This info is available in the bios OR you can install monitoring software. I use HWMonitor

Pos the results of memtest and your temps and voltages here.

That's a "Driver IRQL Not Less Or Equal" bugcheck if memory serves....

You have a memory dump which can be really really useful, but extracting informtion from one can be tricky if you've never done it before.

If this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315263 makes any kind of sense to you and you can get the debugging tools for windows working, I can help analyze the dump.

Sorry for my late reaction, I didn't check this forum since I was out of town for a couple of days.
How do you mean 'tricky'? Do you mean that when I post this information online, people have access to confidential information about my computer, or what? I am looking at the page you linked me. It makes sense, but do I need to just copy the information in the Minidump and send it to you?
Thanks,

Do you think it'll help if I reinstall my C: drive with Windows 7? I also keep getting more and more programs that stop to work because of a virus I think.. =S Should I just format C: and install windows again?

Have you done the troublehshooting I outlined in post #2?

In addition, post your exact system specs; ie make and model of mb, brand and wattage of pw supply, brand and speed of ram, etc, etc. If possible provide links to your parts.
