Solved: Can not access fsb settings, help getting into bios
I have been at this for hours and i'm on the verge of giving up

I am attempting to overclock my dell dimension e510 by adjusting the fsb and voltage settings

however, when i press f2 at start up the setup screen i get into is extremely limited there are no options for accessing cmos or any kind of overclocking tools.

am i just not in the correct bios screen? Or is there no setting for my bios?

My motherboard is and Dell made motherboard model #0wg261 running bios update Dell Dimension System BIOS, A07
Dell DM051 A07 System BIOS

Can someone point me in the right direction here? lol

Dell and other "mass producers" use proprietary BIOS's with very limited options to prevent their machines from being overclocked. You won't be able to overclock the processor in the Dell Dimension E510.

Awesome...

is there any other way to overclock the processor? I have heard of some software programs that can edit those options from inside windows, but all the ones i have downloaded don't seem compatible with mine.

Should i continue searching or is it just an impossibility?

In my opinion forget it. Your machine was never designed for overclocking. I would be very careful trying to overclock you machine with a software program.

The Dell E510 used a BTX form factor motherboard and further developement of the BTX form factor boards was discontinued by Intel in 2006. If you make changes to the board configuration there is a good chance you will wind up with a very large door stop.
