DMA-driver error
Hi got A problem with my dvd writer ATAPI iHAS122 8, Suddenly stops burning after so long and also stops reading after about a minute, anybody see the problem from the log DMA is on, any help would be great, thanks

Have you tried using any other burning software besides Nero with this drive? (did you get the same results if so?)

yea tried cdburnerxp and imageburn get exactly the same result so its very confusing what has suddenly happened

It could be time for a new drive. In my experience DVD writers go bad eventually, causing the type of errors that you mentioned and more. Could you pull the drive, connect it to a different computer, and see if you get the same result?

Have'nt got access to another pc to try it, but will buy a new writer to see if that what it is, thanks for the help.
