Microphone Troubles
I run Windows 7 64bit and a couple months back my computer suddenly stopped recognizing my mic, this was okay as I didn't use it often but now that I need it I can't seem to remedy the problem. It's a very old mic but worked before perfectly, I don't think it's the actual hardware as it stopped working overnight, if it helps the Microphone is a ancient Labtec Verse 504.

Is the mic recognized by windows and just not working or is windows just not recognizing it? What steps have you tried so far?
