Lightbulb Official Graphics Card Advice/ Thread
I don't know if this counts as an idea, but here it is:

Recently, I've noticed that there are a lot of threads asking for advice when picking a graphics card (in the Games section). It would be so much easier if there was a sticky thread that outlined tips and tricks when choosing a graphics card.. What do you guys think?
Also, the thread could mention cards that have a good price/performance ratio for each price range.
Maybe it could be added to this thread.. http://forums.techguy.org/games/1472...on-please.html
IDK.. I think it'd be better as an independent thread..

My biggest concern with this would be that time marches on. Stickies typically aren't updated terribly often, much less frequently than the time taken for the top of the range card today to be found in cheap laptops, and games to be demanding double the power.

A library article might work for it though, as that can be updated much more easily. If it's good enough I'm sure the admins could put a sticky link to the library article.

^Sure I guess that works too. I just brought up a basic idea, it can be moulded in any way that works best for the community.
