Hello everyone
I'm new to all of this... I'm studying at a technical school for my BS in Security Computer Forensics .

I do have a ? - 1 of the ?'s in my Microcomputers class book asks what 2 reasons are there that PC techs do not REPAIR power supply units.

I've looked through out the book (mostly in Chap. #3, 4 & 5 that deal with this) & it doesn't really give me any kind of answers. I would be appreciative if someone could help me out on this...

Thanks bunches, Kat

Hi Kat, and welcome to TSG.

Let me start you off with one possible reason ...

- In most places the labor charges to troubleshoot and repair a low end PSU would be more expensive than the cost of a new one.
