Just lurking 'til now
Hi, I've been reading lots of interesting stuff on this forum without ever registering because I never really needed any help with tech problems.........until now. This seems like a gold mine of info and knowledge and I'm hoping someone here can help me out, and hopefully I can learn enough to someday return the favor and help someone myself. My name is Rich and I'm from Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Looking forward to meeting some great minds! Thanks for having me aboard!!

Welcome selectrick. Your name is similar to Selectric which is a machine I started repairing back in 1975.

Yep. And one that will last a hundred years, IMO.

Since I'm an electrician by trade and my name is Rick (Richard) I came up with that name originally for a business name if I were ever to start my own contracting company. I never did start a business but the name stuck as an online handle ever since. ....Member of IBEW Local 804.Thanks for the warm welcomes!! Cheers to all!

No problem, you just cover the cost of the flight, and I'll fix it free of charge! BTW I'm in Canada. J/K of course, good luck with that heater, if temps there are anything like here this week you'll be needing it fixed in a hurry! Heck, I'll even buy you a new heater!! (The young lads band sounds great!!)
