Son, I don't advise taking on valis before you do your homework. He has an intellectual wit sharp enough to make you bleed to death before you know you're cut. Take this as good advice from the crusty and curmudgeonly ol' pyrite. Valis is a blood bro; mess with him and you mess with me, not that he needs the help.

Happy posting!

toldja he was curmudgeonly.....

One thing; don't let that crusty ol' pyrite exterior fool you......beneath that lies the true Au, and a rapier wit to boot. Toss in a passing knowledge of F1 (hates Ferrari, so it's only passing ), and the ability to give a well-reasoned, logical, and complete arguement on about every subject under the sun, and you've got a good fella there.

Basically you are in good company. As I stated, always good to have another canuck around. Specially this time of year; down here, everyone talks hoops; Dallas is in the semi's against Detroit, and doesn't even make the front page.

Me? I'm looking forward to seeing how Crosby handles himself against the bangers on the Detroit goon squad.

Take care, Amppy, and hope to see you around....beware of CivDeb; the thick skin warning most definitely applies.

Thanks, pyrite, for the compliments. Coming from you, my friend, that is high praise indeed. A bit too high, as we all know I ain't the sharpest knife in the flowerbed. But I have fun regardless.

laters, kids, play safe.

Thanks Tim; if anybody doesn't know what the Au is they need upgrading. As for hating the prancing pony, we have been through this before...

HiYa valis ... Stars' Turco terrific in Game 5 win

The Red Wings lost for the first time in the playoffs at Joe Louis Arena and have now dropped two in a row after winning nine consecutive games.

The clubs will travel to Dallas for Game 6
