Glad I found you!
Name is Bruce, from Washington DC (please don't hold that against me) and i'm writing to see who might be able to help with this weird issue I'm all of a sudden having using Excel 2007.

Before i registered with this site i was reading a thread (which of course now i can't find) about this particular problem.

For whatever reason, it's taking 30-60 seconds to open an excel file. If i open excel first i can quickly open the file but clicking on the file takes much too long. Was working fine??? Only thing that i have done in hte last couple of days was to download PC Tools SpyDoctor.

In this thread I read something about ASAP utilities and disabling excel Ad-ins.

I'm wondering if that is the only way to solve this problem OR should I (and how) do i reinstall Excel?

Thanks

Bruce
