help , a novice has used the recovery disc
Hi there
A quick background , i am an englishman living in pretty much literally the jungle of thailand . therefore computer repair shops are non existent .
I have got a Toshiba satelitte pro L10 series laptop.
I have had it about two years
Problems started when i couldn't view you tube vids , all i got on any video was the message " we're sorry this video is unavailable at this time " , then things really started slowing up ! and eventually it was a waste of time using the comp .
I decided to save all my stuff on disc and use the toshiba recovery disc which has wiped the hard drive .
this has speeded up everything but i have lost some programs and after downloading msn for my hotmail , i can't view photos and some attachments !
Please could you list some important programs i might need .
I'm sorry but you will need to explain it as i am a computer idiot , i had no choice it was that or nothing !!!
ANY help will be very much appreciated
rhanks
