Question xpcom:event receiver not responding
Hello,
I am using a slow dial up connection for my internet. At times when I log onto the internet I cannot open even the initial home page window. Then when I shut down the computer I get the message that "xpcom:event receiver is not responding. If you end it now you will lose any unsaved data." I click "end now" and then the computer can shut down. If I am lucky, the next time I restart my computer, I maybe able to use my internet without problems.

Any kind of help or suggestion shall be highly appreciated.

I have microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 2

Manufactured & supported by Toshiba MFWT020ACP07 Mobile Intel (R)
Pentium (R) 4 CPU 3.2 GHz, 1.37 GB of RAM

RAZA....welcome to TSG
this is the introductions forum....please read the "sticky" at the top of it.
if you'd like to introduce yourself, you are welcome to start another thread.

but this is not a place to ask for help
try posting your question for help in the forum that includes your operating system...or in the Web&Email forum....one or the other....NOT both

i'm closing this.
