Hi there
Hi all,

Found this rather intriguing looking site whilst searching for some answers to a couple of niggling little things that keep cropping up.

I'm fairly ill-experienced at computer support etc and I seem to have been given the task of office IT guy. My fault I guess, each time a new person starts, I get the introduction 'if you have any computer problems, talk to this guy' (as they point to me).

We have around 10 PCs running either XP or vista linked up to a central server - as most businesses with more than 1 PC have

I might on occasion ask a question that seems a little easy, but at the end of the day - IT support isn't in my job description, I just seem to be doing it in the absence of a professional IT support technician.

I hope I don't make a fool of myself here, as it won't be my intention to do so.

Thanks

b00sk
