Solved: Greetings From Kentucky
My real name is Al Hoffman and I just signed on yesterday, so I'm still feeling my way around.

I was born in New York but have lived in Kentucky for 45 of my 72 years. My wife is a native Kentuckian. I've been "piddling" with personal computers since 1979 and my point of focus is OSs, software and hardware.

Thanks for having an "Old Guy Trying NOT To Act My Age!"

Hi and Welcome!

I'm a bit worried though .... I'm in the UK and on this side of the Atlantic, "piddling" is what one does in a Restroom!!

Thanks for the words everyone. Ooops, sorry for the British slang! I often forget about the slang stuff, and there's one about cheering for one's favorite sports team here in the USA that gets me in trouble with the Aussies once in awhile. I'll try to be more careful, mates! Thanks again...
