Accessing NT shared folders from RedHat 8
i have a primary domain conroller running windows nt 4 server and i have linux redhat 8 installed, i can not seem to access the shares of the nt computer. samba is working fine, but its only when i double click on the folder that i gives me an error saying "couldn't display smb://woody/share, becuase access was denied. i can access all shares on my linux computer from windows, but i can access windows folders from linux.

Do you have ntfs support compiled into the kernel and is the NT machine on ntfs?

Cool NTFS
Hi Guys,

I couldnt get NTFS support for RedHat, I could only get read support for SuSe 8.00. Is there a full read and support distro out there?
