Ubuntu and HDMI connection error
I am using Ubuntu and an HDMI cable to watch videos I get an error message not supported.
Does anyone know how I could fix this problem?
I thank you in advance for your time and help in this matter.

I'm interested to see the resolution. Linux isn't approved for watching copyright protected content. Wonder what the official / legal workaround is.

What's "not supported"? Your thread title implies that HDMI is not supported. Is this with all known versions of Ubuntu for the last half dozen years, or a specific one?

If you are trying to watch content protected video from your computer to a different screen, you need to make sure all components are HDCP Compliant (video card, monitor...)
