Hey

I was wondering ...I installed redhat 8.0 from cd and everything works just fine, but I wanna change the location of the cds. I wanna be able to install packages from a server instead.

does anyone know how to change this....im still new to linux

The easiest way is to run KDE's package manager, kpackage.
Open kpackage and click settings from the menu bar>click "configure kpackage" and you'll see a page called "types" go to RPM and click "location of packages" and fill in the address of the server.
