Lightbulb Run Linux *DIRECTLY* off a CD, no installation required
Here's a Linux Version that can be run directly from a CD. It doesn't need to be installed.

Go to http://www.knopper.net/knoppix/index-en.html and download the full version.

WARNING:
1. Its a hugh download. Dial-up users, think twice before starting and use a download manager. (e.g. GetRight)
2. Try this at your own risk.
3. Don't blame me for missing links. Obviously I didn't make that site.

Please do come back to post and narrate your experiences.

I have already started the download with the help of GetRight. It says 69 hrs left .

But when it comes to Linux that I can try, I have that much patience. Let it take a week or more. I will download some part daily
