I'm definitely new to UNIX
i was just wondering if anyone can recommend me some books to the UNIX operating system.

i've never used UNIX before and i was wondering what books are out there that will best give me an understanding and that will include labs to perform on a unix machine.

go and wahe a look at www.linux.org , they have some nice tutorials and howto's

(The standard documentation of suse professional is usefull if you have the basic, but most programs are well documented, you only have to find the docs.....)
