hi there.

mandrake 8.2, HP845c printer

from http://hpinkjet.sourceforge.net/install.php
i downloaded hpijs-1.3

after i went to run window and tried to type
# tar xzvf hpijs-1.3.tar.gz
# cd hpijs-1.2
# ./configure
# make
# make install

i got an error reply, something like MAN VIEWER not set etc

any suggestions? i m really tired. i m new to linux and read all documentation but still cannot solve this

i tried to move to next step, in case that the "driver" was somehow already set during installation of mandrake.
to verify, i typed at run window:
# hpijs -h

same error reply

Did you try to configure the printer in Mandrake Control Center?
