nVidia Driver? HELP
Hi,y'all any1 know what src. package i can get to use,because when i tried to install the (NVIDIA glx&kernel 1.0-3123&updated one too) my pc was messed up even with the instructions i followed.My kernel is 2.4.18-24.Its like i had a 5 by 7 blue screen in the middle of my screen with some funky wierd thingy inside.I'm pretty sure my card is capable cause i got the driver for my win XP.PLEASE HELP ME IF ANY1 CAN.

P.S. I know its gonna be LYNCH again sorry to bother you so much buddy,if you can please reply.If not no problem,you've helped enough,THANKZ

Well, I'd like to help but,like with the Wine help you were seeking,I also have not installed the linux Nvidia drivers:I use mostly ATI stuff and dont have any real need for 3D acceleration.
I have had this thread saved in my bookmarks if that is of help.It's a lengthy thread so you might want to read the whole thing through.Who knows:this could be where you got your instructions from .If not,post a link to where you got your instructions.
