Arrow Red Hat 8.0 Install Problem
i downloaded the 5 iso's wit no problems, no i didnt verify them with the md5 sums, but the install is working. it just hangs when it goes to detect the partition info. i recently installed a new 120GB hard drive and i think that may be the problem, but im not positive. i have a 120GB as Primary Master, and a 40GB as the Primary Slave. i plan on installing RH8 to the empty 40GB. has anyone had this problem?

So did you actually partition the 120 Gbyte or the 40 Gbyte drive before trying to install? Regardless, you could always switch the 120 Gbyte and 40 Gbyte drives so that the 40 Gbyte was primary, and see if that made any difference (that would certainly eliminate any doubts that the 120 Gbyte drive was causing problems). Note that there are other considerations here, such as what O/S(s) you intend to run, etc. -- any info appreciated.

Hope this helps.
