No no to Red Hat 8.0
Ok .. I always wanted to try something different other than windows family. So i gave it a try on Red Hat 8. Within this month my Red Hat 8 has crashed more than 7 times and forced me to reinstall the whole red hat and completely wipe out my stuffs. There is no way fsck / to fix anything. It says things are fixed, but when it reboot it gets me back to scanning stage and halted. I realized the problem may stemmed from fooling around with theme and desktop wallpaper. My red hat used to be stabled for 3 months but until i get myself more into theme stuffs. The KDE and GNOME is really slow as compare to windowsXP that installed in the same machine. I try to hold myself back on this theory that Red Hat is slow but it turned out that Red Hat KDE and GNOME is extrememly slow. I am back to Windows again. I will probably try Mandrake sometime.

Anyone has the same experience as I do?

Way to go Red Hat ..
