"It doesn't seem to work"
Please explain, we won't know what problem you are having if you don't tell us.

Konquerer did not require any set up when I used it at least , I installed Linux, clicked Konquerer and it worked.

Can you elaborate on what problems you are having?

Open konqueror and go to Settings>Configure Konqueror. When the configuration app appears, select Konqueror browser.
Once you start konqueror the 1st time,it's pretty much set up.
Why dont you like mozilla?
Look for Galeon or Opera or <gasp>Netscape. They should all be on your Linux CDs.I never was too crazy about konqueror's web browser functions.Crappy fonts and grainy pictures.
Galeon runs on the Gecko engine(mozilla)

I don't use linux much , but try typing in the whole URL.
I don't think Konquerer has the ability to do a web search from the address bar like IE/Mozilla/Netscape do.

Its Brendan, but I don't care

Hi,Brandon77.
I just fired up konq and typed "cnet.com"(without the quotes) and hit enter and it took me right to the site.So I guess if you know the domain thing,eg. .com,.net etc. you should have no problem.
What kind of connection do you have?If you told me,I forgot .Is it broadband or dial-up?
Mozilla runs fine for me.You might want to try searching for updates for mozilla. There were some bugs between the version I have(1.01) and whatever the present release is.

I`m also a Galeon fan.

Much better than Konq.

Cheers,
