Red Hat 8.0 Stops Installing
During the graphical installation of Linux Red Hat 8.0 with only 27Mb remaining to be installed the installation stops. The mouse still responds, but the keyboard doesn't. The File it stops on is the, "xpdf-1.01-8 file." The filesize of it is 4,892KB and it's a PDF File viewer for the X Windows System.

The system I'm trying to install the software on meets and exceeds all requirements.

I have the Publisher's Copy of 8.0 which I obtained when I purchased Red Hat Linux 8: Unleased.

Any help with alternate installation methods will be greatly appreciated.

You could try custom package selection and just deselect the xpdf package. If the install finishes ok you can download and install a copy afterwards.
How much space did you allow for this installation?
