I am using a Sun Cobalt Cube in my office for Internet Gateway, Firewall, and VPN. I have a Windows 2000 Server as a domain controller, with manual I/P address range not DHCP.


I have setup the vpn in Cobalt Cube and trying to connect from my friends office with XP Home operating system.

In the connection properties/TCP IP protocol i am entering I/p address as per the ip range of my office. The connection goes well and i see i m connected, but i cant access the network of my office.

Can someone tell me why cant i access my office network after being connected.

Not familiar with the Sun Cobalt Cube but if it's running Solaris there may be a host.allow or a hosts.deny configuration file that needs editing.
