Bios BSD -- Compaq Laptop
Trying to Flash my bios, have trouble; Compaq laptop, BSD4.6, got bootable disk, aflash won't work; Phoenix bios, downloaded 5A2D231X.rom, not sure how to flash it from here; any help

Most of the time you need a pure Dos Boot diskette. Meaning it cant be a boot disk made by Windows. Goto bootdisk.com and download a dos boot disk.

Just curious as to what you are typing when you try to flash the bios. You usually have to type: awflash filename.rom
