newest version of linux and where to find it
i was wanting to install linux on my laptop instead of windows xp pro and i have a few questions. where do i get linux to download at? whats the newest version/best? will i be able to use a network card and connect to my network if i run linux on my laptop and windows xp home on my desktop?
laptop specs:
466 mhz
64 mb ram
4 gb hard drive
compaq armada v300

I got Caldera Open Linux (free) downloaded onto 2 cds for the workstation. Loads and runs very smoothly.
Now I'm having trouble with the network but that's another thread.
Many other distributions are here.
