I am running a Belkin KVM between an XP Pro system and RH 9 system. The mouse I have is a Microsoft Optical Intellimouse v1.1. When I switch from RH to XP, everything is fine. When I switch from XP to RH, the mouse tends to wig out, popping up windows, moving things. UNLESS I logged out of Gnome (or KDE it doesn't matter) first before switching to XP. I've tried different drivers, they either don't work at all or I get the same thing. Any ideas?

Check this out.Also check out the troubleshooting part of the KVM switch manual.There's stuff about losing mouse control.
I think that when you log out of the Gnome or KDE session you are freeing up the mouse from that x-session,so that may be the proper procedure.Will have to look into this further.
I have a 2-port Linksys KVM with integrated cables running XP/SuSE 8.1.I will see if I can re-create the problem on that setup.
