Is there a command that you can type in a Konsole to have CERTAIN programs start up in Mandrake 9.1? For example, Yahoo messenger, XMMS, and mail

Your talking about editing the startup scripts. Nothing truly difficult about it, just don't make spelling errors! Here's a link I found, it is a RedHat 8 thing, but should help point you in the right direction... http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/l...-run-boot.html
