IP address???
We have one unix box, and I am not familiar with unix other than the spelling. I need to get the IP address off of it. Is there a command that I can use to get it?
Thanks guys!!

If you are behind the firewall it will get you the IP of the firewall though.
You can try the command ifconfig -a and it should show you the network interfaces and the IP's they have assigned.
(although this is in Linux, and I have not tried it on a Unix box)

Thanks. Someone else had a log with the IP address that we needed. I will keep this in mind though, should I come across another situation like this.
Take care guys!
