Mandrake Help
I have Windows ME preinstalled on my PC. I have a 20GB hard disk and have divided it into 4 partitions. I decided to install Mandrake Linux 9.1 alongwith Win ME. I selected the 4th partition (4.38GB in Size) to install mandrake. When the installation began from the 1st CD i got an error "XFree86 has caused an error while installing. Do you want to continue" I selected yes. When the setup was completely over my system rebooted and flashed The LILO menu. I selected to boot Linux. When everything was loaded automatically finally i got the following prompt

localhost login:
username:sameer
passwordI typed but was invisible)
[sameer@localhost sameer]$ startx
-bash Command or file not found.

I have absolutely no idea of various Linux Commands.
Though i am advanced Windows user I am completely new to Linux. Plz. Help
