Red Hat Linux 8.0 Dilemma .
I have had another go at putting Red Hat Linux 8.0 as dual boot with Windows XP Home and have the best success yet but still am having problems .

I can boot and the Grub screen comes up with Red Hat and Dos , I have Red Hat as default and can move it and click on windows and it comes up with no problems .

If I click on Red Hat everything seems to go OK I get the welcome to Red Hat and all the green OK's seem to be OK except the one where it says No Mountpoints Defined .

I get to the local host logon and type root and my password and the only command I can get it to obey seems to be exit .

I try startX nothing
Itry $ startx and there is still nothing , I am sure there is not much wrong , just the operator , but I dont know a great deal about linux but would like to learn .

Hoping someone can help
