losing connection on occassion
I have a new server set up with Debian, apache, PHP, and MySQL as an application server. I have started to have a connection problem to it. On occasion the windows machines that access it will just lose the ability to see it. I can’t ping it or pull up the web bases applications. It seems to vary from machine to machine. (ie I can get it, but the guy in the next office down can’t…or he can and I can’t)

If I refresh the network settings (In XP Pro do a repair on the network or in Win2k machines I disable/enable the network connection) it comes right back fine. The server is not down and not giving me any errors I can locate. I know that this would seem to be a client problem, but I had a previous server in here for nearly a year before this one with none of these problems. It has only been with the new installation.

Any ideas on things I can check or look into? It really sucks because one of these machines is a Terminal Server, and disabling/enabling the network connection tends to disconnect everyone enjoying their remote sessions.
