USB Hard Drive on RedHat 9
I connect a USB hard drive to a fresh install of RH9 and nothing happens. The hardware browser does see the NTFS disk as sda1.

How can I mount the volume and use it for storage?

By formatting it as fat32 or ext3.Redhat 9 doesnt support NTFS.You should also do a lsmod -l to see if the USB modules are loaded.
Other than that(as I only use USB on Linux for printers)you can get some info about your problem here
