Lindows 4
I know this is probably the dumbest question ever, but I'm VERY new to Linux.

I've recently installed LINDOWS on my old laptop (BTW, it took 4 attempts to finally work), and I peruse the lindows site for downloads.

Unfortunatly they want me to pay for membership services to DL stuff. I was pretty sure Linux was open sourse and free to everyone, so I was wondering where I could DL software to make my lindows a bit more interesting, games, apps, the whole gambit

you should be able to run any KDE type x windows app on Lindows. Lindows (I believe) is just another distro of Linux, meaning you should be able to run most anything out there of linux.

good luck!
